Four police officers have been killed after a sniper opened fire at them in the right bank of Mosul, a security source declared Saturday.
The sniper targeted the police forces at Halab Street in the right bank of Mosul, he added.
The sniper's fire caused several injuries in the ranks of the police forces stationed in the area, the source stated.
This comes as the Iraqi city is witnessing fierce battles against ISIS terror group which once controlled large swaths in the left and right banks.
The Iraqi forces liberated the left bank of the city, and started a push on February 19th to take the right bank of the city.
