Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has welcomed US President Donald Trump's condemnation to Iran's nuclear program.
In a press conference after their talks in Washington on Wednesday, Netanyahu said that Iran wants to obtain nuclear arsenal. Israel and the US can face Iran's threat and transgression, he added.
President Donald Trump had opened his joint news conference with Israeli Prime Minister with a vow to encourage a peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinians, according to ABC news.
But the US president said the two parties themselves "must directly negotiate such an agreement." Netanyahu adds, "both sides."
Trump and Netanyahu had met at the White House for their first face-to-face encounter since Trump took office.
