ISIS terror group has attacked Iran-allied IMIS Militias in Al Shirqat district, Salahuddin Governorate, well-informed sources told the Baghdad Post on Wednesday.
The sources said four ISIS terrorists have been killed during the attack while the number of casualties within the IMIS Militias have yet to be revealed.
Eyewitnesses and military sources say ISIS terrorists occasionally attack areas in northern Saladin in an attempt to infiltrate the province.
In late December 2017, Iraqi PM Haider Abadi declared full liberation of Iraqi territories from ISIS terrorists. But the terror group's sleeper cells still carry out sporadic attacks against civilians and vital facilities across the country.
