Seven ISIS terrorists have been killed in a US-led international coalition airstrike that targeted their hide-out near Makhmour.
Commander of Peshmerga forces in Makhmour, Serwan Barzani said the airstrike targeted an ISIS hide-out about one km from the Peshmerga forces positions.
In December, 2017, Iraqi PM Haider Abadi declared full liberation of Iraqi territories from ISIS terrorists.
But isolated cells believed to be linked to the radical group remain active in some parts of the country.
Last month,Iraq announced the start of a military operation in the western province of Anbar near the border with Syria, also targeting ISIS.
