ISIS has claimed responsibility for the bombing that hit Daquq town in southern Kirkuk Thursday morning.
In a statement, ISIS said it targeted Khidr Elias shrine in Kirkuk governorate with a booby-trapped bike.
Major-general Saad Maan, spokesman of the Ministry of Interior, said there are no reports on casualties, but the shrine was damaged.
The Iraqi cities have been witnessing a state of insecurity and chaos as terror attacks target civilians.
Although Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi declared in early December 2017 victory over ISIS, the terrorist group continues to carry out attacks on different Iraqi cities.
