A lawyer and a civil servant have been arrested after a warrant had been issued by the federal court, Nineveh police declared Tuesday.
Military intelligence forces in Nineveh have arrested a lawyer working at Nineveh Appellate Court and a civil servant in the left bank of Mosul on charges of having links with ISIS terror group, Amir Watheq, a senior security official in Nineveh, said.
He added the defendants colluded with the terror group when it swept across Mosul three years ago.
The forces led the two defendants to the police station for investigations.
ISIS terror outfit has been incurring huge losses in Iraq in recent months, with its affiliates expelled entirely from Mosul, Tal Afar and other areas.
