Gorran Movement called on the Kurdistan Region Government and the Iraqi Central government to initiate serious discussions and negotiations to end the current crisis and bring back normalcy to Iraq.
In a press statement, Gorran Movement top leader Sabir Ismail said that the current situation in Kurdistan requires serious efforts and negotiation to bring back political and economic stability.
Ismail stressed that all
sides need to be flexible to reach a solution to end the current crisis.
This comes as Kurdistan carried an independence referendum in September that Kurds voted overwhelmingly in to secede from Iraq.
Following this event Baghdad carried out several attacks against Kurdistan and imposed numerous sanctions against it.
