Head of Turkmen Front block in the Kurdistan Region parliament Aydin Marouf announced on Sunday
that the heads of the blocs and a number of the government's officials will hold a meeting soon to
discuss a number of issues including Baghdad-Erbil relations.
In statements, the meeting is also planned to discuss the situation after the Iraqi federal government controlled the disputed areas including Kirkuk.
He added that the meeting comes after Kurdistan Regional Government President Masoud Barzani distributed his powers on the region's parliament and government. Marouf asserted the importance of fostering cooperation between the region's governmental and legislative institutions as well as avoiding partisan interventions.
He added that a joint governmental and parliamentary delegation is expected to head to Baghdad for talks with the federal government.
