ISIS foreign commanders in Hawija city in Kirkuk Governorate have offered a farewell prayer, a security source revealed Monday.
In press statements, the source said that an ISIS Arab leader, who heads Mujahideen Shura Council (MSC) in Iraq, also offered a farewell prayer along with other ISIS foreign leaders in one of the main mosques in Hawija.
He also noted that the head of MSC called on ISIS terrorists to blow themselves up in the upcoming battles.
ISIS Arab leader has admitted that the group’s power had vanished, the source, who asked to remain anonymous, further stated.
He said that ISIS commanders and their families had gone into hiding after completing the prayer.
Most of ISIS terrorists have disappeared from cities of Hawija, al-Riyadh, al-Rashad in southwestern Kirkuk, he added.
On Sunday, it was reported that military operations, backed by US-led coalition and Tribal Mobilization, to recapture Hawija in Kirkuk Governorate, al-Shirqat neighborhood in Salahuddin Governorate and cities in western Anbar, will be launched concurrently on September 20.
