The Iran Militias in Iraq and Syria (IMIS) Spokesman Ahmed al-Assadi revealed on TV show Thursday that the Iraqi prime minister Haider Al-Abadi has delayed the enforcement of IMIS Act under false pretenses.
He confirmed that IMIS terrorist militias called for enforcing the law regarding the rights of its recruits as he claimed they are a legal and official institution.
He also added that there are political will inside and outside Iraq to dismantle the militia, engaged in sectarian killings and forced displacements.
The Iran-backed IMIS are composed of some 40 militias, which are mainly Shiite. These militias were allegedly formed to fight against ISIS terrorists.
