Ramadi suicide bombing death toll rises to 19 including police officer

Iraqi security officials confirm death toll from Sunday's suicide bombing in western Ramadi has jumped to 19.

Earlier in the day, a suicide bomber blew himself up at a refugee camp in Anbar.

The victims included women, children, and a police officer, officials confirmed.

Thirteen others were wounded in the attack, including two officers, according to medical sources.
United Nations Assistance Mission in Iraq (UNAMI) said in a monthly report a total of 411 civilians were killed  in June while 294 injuries were reported.

No one has yet claimed the bombing. But ISIS terror group has repeatedly carried out similar bombings.
The US-backed Iraqi army has launched an offensive to oust ISIS terrorists from the country since October 2016.

PM Haider Abadi said last week the terror group was controlling only one percent of Iraq.
