Abu Azrael
The general secretariat of Kata'ib al-Imam Ali (Imam Ali Battalions), one of Iranian Militias in Iraq and Syria (IMIS) militias, has issued a statement on Sunday, announcing its disavowal of Ayyub Faleh Hassan al-Rubaie, known as Abu Azrael, one of the battalions' commanders.

This comes after a video featuring Abu Azrael while burning a body, he claimed it belongs to an ISIS terrorist, was published.

Earlier, a video of Kata'ib al-Imam commander boasting about burning al-Adnaniyah, a Sunni district located in western Mosul, was published.

In the video, Abu Azrael was celebrating burning the Sunni district, saying that it has burned to ashes and soon he will enter Syria.

In another video, the Shiite commander was distributing humanitarian aid on Sunni displaced children in Mosul, but he blackmailed them as he required they say Shiite slogans or they will not receive food.

IMIS militias were accused by several international, local human rights organizations of committing sectarian atrocities, mass genocide against Sunni Arabs in Iraq to serve Iranian schemes of forming a Shiite crescent to further their influence in the Middle East.
