Army boosts efforts in Salahuddin
Iraqi Army's General Staff said on Sunday it is intensifying intelligence efforts in the province of Salahuddin to keep tabs on the terrorist cells and prevent the carrying out of its bloody operations.

Army's Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Othman Al-Ghanmi received at his office the head of the Health and Environment Committee of the Iraqi Parliament MP Qutaybah al-Jubouri, the Governor of Salahuddin Ahmed al-Jubouri and the commander of Salaheddin operations, Lieutenant General Juma 'Anad Sadoun, a statement by the Ministry of Defense said. 

At the meeting, the senior officials asserted the necessity of filling the gaps to bar the terrorists from waging more attacks, and intensifying the intelligence efforts in the province as well as keeping tabs on sleeper cells. 

Also, the security officials discussed the latest developments regarding the security situation in the province, and the recent attacks waged by the terrorists there.
