Saudi-led coalition bombardment kills 13 Houthis, wounds 19

Arab coalition aircraft
Saudi-led Arab coalition has bombarded Houthi positions north and south of Mokha province in southwest Yemen, killing 13 and injuring 19 militants, The Baghdad Post reported on Friday.

The coalition's warships fired rockets at 10 Houthi sites in Ruwais and Dar Shoga in northern Mokha province, while airstrikes shelled nine raids on their positions in the Omari mountain range between Mowaza and Dhubab, according to local sources.

The shelling comes in retaliation for a Houthi ballistic missile attack against an Aramco branch in Gazan near borders with Yemen.

The operations, that also destroyed two vehicles belonging to the Iran-backed militias, come as a preface for the governmental forces to push towards al-Hodeida Governorate.

This comes amid fierce battles between the Yemeni governmental forces and the Houthis in Taiz that resulted in the killing of three militants and a Yemeni soldier.
