Iraq Federal Police repel attack by ISIS on central Mosul

ISIS militants killed in Mosul
Iraq Federal Police on Saturday repelled an attack by ISIS militants who were planning to use booby-trapped cars and suicide bombers to launch a massive offensive on the outskirts of central Mosul.

In a statement released on Saturday, Commander of the Federal Police Raed Gawdat said the federal police has repelled an attack by ISIS suicide bombers and booby-trapped cars on the outskirts of Dawasah neighborhood in central Mosul.

The federal police fired back at the attackers, killed 10 suicide bombers and destroyed five booby-trapped cars.
