Intensive fighting to retake Mosul's right bank from ISIS continues

Intensive clashes erupted on Monday between Iraqi security forces and ISIS terrorist group in al-Dawasa street in Mousl's right bank, sources told The Baghdad Post.

In exclusive statements, the sources said that ISIS used cars owned by civilians to block streets in al-Dandan neighborhood in Mousl's right bank.

Iraqi security forces have reopened streets blocked by ISIS terrorists in order to be able to storm the city, the sources explained.

Earlier on the day, Iraqi security forces recaptured al-Tayaran district excepting its main street. A lot of explosive devices were planted there and still being dismantled by Iraqi corps of engineers due to the intensive fighting witnessed in the city.
