Saudi security authorities announced that they seized four terrorist cells in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh and Qassim region.
The cells have many various terrorist activities including providing a shelter for wanted persons, supporting and promoting ISIS ideology on the internet, recruiting people in Saudi citizens, inciting them to participate in the regional conflict zones and providing financial support to them and their terrorist activities where some members have an experience in explosive belts and mixtures manufacture, said the Spokesman of the Saudi Interior Ministry Gen. Mansour al-Turki and Gen. Bassam Atteia.
The security spokesmen added that 18 people of these cells were arrested until now, including two Yemeni nationalities, a Sudanese nationality and 15 Saudi nationalities.
The security operations also resulted in confiscating a number of automatic and Melee weapons in addition to more than SR2000,000.
The ministry stresses its keenness to respond forcefully and decisively to these terrorist activities and formations as well as to bring those involved to justice.
