Hundreds of university graduates staged protests in central Baghdad on Monday to voice their demands of employment.

According to news reports, the protesters called for employment in the public sector, in accordance with the government's promises. They reportedly blocked a main road near Baghdad International Fair and raised Iraqi flags.

They accused PM Mustafa al-Kadhimi of not keeping his promise to provide job opportunities for the university graduates who struggle to find a job.
