Daesh terrorist group on Thursday executed an Iraqi army soldier after he infiltrated into the Daesh stronghold town of Al-Shirqat in Salahuddin province, a security source said.
The element sneaked into regions held by Daesh in the eastern side of Al-Shirqat to carry out a mission there, the source said.
Daesh militants manged to arrest and execute him, added the source.
An Iraqi army force entered the region and retrieved the dead body, he noted.
