The U.N. Special Representative to Iraq Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert has claimed that she has met with Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani in Najaf City to discuss the series of reforms put forward by the U.N.
There are some photos circulated by social media users who say that al-Sistani is dead and all his photos in meetings are fabricated.
In this photo, we could see the Iraqi top clerk sitting with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and a number of other officials in different times, although his clothes, his hands position, the cups of tea are the same since 2014!!!
Some people say that it is a wax statue of al-Sistani, adding that the latter has been died long ago.
So, why the UN continues in deceiving the world with fake
and fabricated photos? Why do you insist on treating the Arabs as naives? Why
do you issue fake statements for a person who became no longer alive? What a
Stop killing Iraqis and Lying on them.
If Plasschaert really met with al-Sisitani, we dare her to provide videos of their today’s meeting in Najaf.
It is noteworthy that unrest erupted in Iraq in early
October, with people demanding dismissal of the government, as well as deep
economic reforms, better living conditions and improved social welfare
According to the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, over 300 people have been killed in the violence since the start of protests.
Iraq has been hit by nationwide protests that have prompted a heavy-handed response from the government, including over 300 dead and some 15,000 injured at the hands of security forces, widespread curfews and the cutting off of Internet access in Baghdad and other regions.
