95% of displaced people east of Fallujah in Anbar back home

The Security director of al-Khairat district in Anbar province, Imad Mahdi al-Mohammadi, announced on Friday that the file of displaced people in areas east of Fallujah will be closed after most of its residents return to their liberated areas.

Al-Mohammadi said in a statement that Al-Khairat area in Al-Karmah district east of Fallujah, near the borders of Baghdad governorate, recorded the largest return of displaced families on the back of security stability and the return of services to that city, which suffered a high rate of destruction in its service projects.

He added that "about 95% of the displaced families in that area have returned to their areas of residence, noting that" all families who returned to their areas voluntarily after the security forces in coordination with the local government provided the appropriate atmosphere for the return of displaced families to their areas.

He pointed out that "the failure of the rest of the displaced families to return to their liberated areas is due to their inability to fully rebuild their homes damaged as a result of the bombing by ISIS terrorists during their control of the judiciary."
