Abadi: Jubouri`s audio recording of suppressing demonstrators is real, not fabricated

Babylon Governor Karrar Abadi said that the audio recording of the president of the provincial council is real, and not fabricated.

Abadi has asked the prime minister to conduct an urgent investigation into the circumstances of the audio recording concerning the lives of the demonstrators.

He posted on his Facebook page, supporting the demands of peaceful demonstrators, stressing the rejection of any encroachment on their lives or personal security.

He called on the prime minister to conduct an urgent investigation into the circumstances of the sound recording concerning the lives of the demonstrators, noting the need to disclose the results to the public as soon as possible.

Abadi refused to conclude any political agreements or consensuses at the expense of the lives of the demonstrators and their rights and to comply with the directives of the supreme authority which condemned the innocent bloodshed or the grave attacks on peaceful demonstrators.

The Higher Ministerial Committee to investigate the events of the recent demonstrations have issued direct guidance to its subcommittee in Babylon, on the leaked audio recording of the President of the provincial council.

Nuri Sabah al-Dulaimi, head of the Higher Ministerial Committee for Investigating the Events, directed the sub-committee of the province of Babylon to immediately go to the province to investigate the leaked audio recording of the head of the Babylon provincial council, the committee said in a statement.
