MP Abed Aoun Allawi has ruled out dismissing or replacing Prime Minister Adil Abdul-Mahdi during the coming legislative session of the parliament.
In remarks on Monday, Allawi said the coming session will witness questioning the reluctant ministers. “We do not rule out hosting the prime minister on what has been accomplished of the government’s platform.”
He went on saying “after ten months of the cabinet’s work, the parliament will evaluate its performance,” adding that “the parliament’s assessment of the ministers will be different from the evaluation of the government’s committee.”
The parliament, according to Allawi, “will question the reluctant ministers who did not offer services as required.”
