The parties discussed issues of mutual interest and particularly underscored the importance of mutual investments.
During the meeting, the parties attached importance to the need for expanding cooperation between Iraq's Ministry of Planning and Armenian hi-tech companies.
Last month, Baghdad launched a pilot bus route from Iraq to Armenia. Following the route’s debut, the Ministry of Transportation announced the line will allow Iraq to “develop international transportation and open up to neighboring and regional countries”.
The pilot program was organized by Iraq’s public transportation company, a sub-branch of the Ministry of Transportation.
