President of Iraq's Kurdistan Nechirvan Barzani, affirmed the Region's readiness to deliver the agreed quantity of oil to Baghdad, noting to the need to hold talks with the federal government on a number of legal issues.

"In principle, we have no problem in delivering 250,000 barrels of oil to Baghdad, but before this happens, there should be talks," Barzani said.

He also stressed the readiness of the Region to cooperate in exporting Kirkuk's oil or any other region, through the Kurdistan Region's oil pipeline.

"I was in Baghdad and talked with the prime minister about the matter, and it is necessary to discuss the issue; it is not only about handing over oil quota, there are [also] legal issues," Barzani said, adding that "cutting the share of Kurdistan from the general budget since 2014, led to the accumulation of loans on the region."
