Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmed Al-Sabah has said the recent developments in the Arab region urge taking precautions, adding that his country will confront whoever attempts to ignite strife.
In a speech made on occasion of the last days of the holy month of Ramadan, Sheikh Sabah said safety and security of the country should be protected through cooperation and spreading the culture of tolerance and peace. He also urged the media channels to play their role with a sense of responsibility.
The Emir also called for protecting the stability of the country through vigilance and unity saying “Our homeland is entrusted to us all, and this requires everyone to be faithful and loyal, and to work diligently, earnestly and sincerely.”
Moreover, he urged staying away from wars and spreading the culture of peace and tolerance.
He went on saying that the country should be immunized through commitment to the constitution and supporting the ongoing development.
