The Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry has revealed the outcome of the visit carried out by the Iraqi Prime Minister Adil Abdul-Mahdi on Wednesday.
In remarks on Thursday, Khalid al-Jarallah, deputy Kuwaiti foreign minister, described Abdul-Mahdi’s visit as fruitful and positive, deeming it a chance to exchange viewpoints and boost bilateral ties.
The delegation met with their Kuwaiti counterparts to seek ways to develop relations and tackle issues of mutual concern.
Moreover, the two sides “agreed on developing and boosting cooperation in all fields.
Jarallah also expressed optimism regarding the development of the bilateral ties, saying “we believe we are on the right path regarding the interests of the two countries and peoples.”
Asked if there were any agreements signed during the visit, he said “the agreements were signed during the seventh joint supreme ministerial conference earlier this month."
He also added that the ministerial committee drew a roadmap to end several issues between the two countries.
