Finnish Customs Tulli revealed details of an illegal shipment they intercepted in December 2017 at Helsinki Airport, heading for Iraq, including a dual-use mass spectrometer.

Tulli managed to find the device which is used to measure the masses of isotopes, molecules, and molecular fragments, News Now Finland reported.

A mass spectrometer is a ‘dual use’ device, which can be used for both civilian and military purposes, the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland said.

The device was imported from the US to Finland. Obviously, the supplier thought Finland would be the device's final destination.
