Sajri urges investigating 'most 3 corrupt figures in Iraq'

National Axis Alliance member Ali al-Sajri called on the Joint Anti-corruption Council to investigate who he described as the most three corrupt figures in Iraq.

Former MP Misha'an al-Jabouri; Maher Johan, deputy minister of finance; and Salman al-Jabouri, former finance minister are heads of theft and corruption gangs, Sajri said.

These three get a bonus of 15% for the approval of the Ministry of Finance to disburse the dues of the provinces and the private sector, and 15% from the Ministry of Planning in exchange for approval to raise prices and adjust and transfer projects to the provinces, Sajri said.

There are serious issues that hold this "gang" accountable, which have been submitted to the Commission of Integrity, Sajri said, adding that many cases of corruption reached the parliamentary integrity commission and that the parliament will work to submit them to the judiciary.
