They affirmed their country's support to Iraq in various fields. This came during the delegation's meeting with Parliament Speaker Mohamed al-Halbousi on Wednesday. US Charge d'Affaires in Baghdad Joey Hood also attended the meeting.
Halbousi and the US delegation discussed providing services through investment opportunities giving access to the US companies to work in Iraq, a statement by Halbousi's office said.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the continuation of security cooperation between Baghdad and Washington; to eliminate ISIS cells, provide assistance to return displaced people to the areas liberated from the terrorist group, achieve stability and implement the reconstruction strategy of Iraqi cities.
