Saudi CP, US military’s central command head discuss fighting terrorism

Saudi Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman, who is the deputy prime minister and defense minister, has tackled along with Lt. Gen. Kenneth McKenzie, head of the U.S. military's Central Command, the joint efforts made to fight terrorism and extremism.

The meeting came as the crown prince received McKenzie on Monday in Riyadh. Senior Saudi officials, including Prince Khaled bin Salman, the defense minister, Mohamed al-Ayesh, deputy minister, and others attended the meeting. From the US side, senior officials from the US embassy and from the central command attended.

They also tackled the bilateral cooperation in the military field as well as the regional developments.

On Monday, King Salman bin Abdul Aziz met up with McKenzie and his accompanying delegation.
