ISIS children

France has so far failed to make a final decision on whether it would repatriate dozens of children stranded in Syria, a report by the Business Insider said.

Paris has not shown a clear stance on the issue, the report said adding that no certain timelines were set for any possible repatriation, the report said.

About 2,500 children of distinct nationalities, many of whom under the age of seven, are still stuck in Syria and Iraq, the report said. Dozens of the children are French.

US President Donald Trump and the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) recently declared the full victory over ISIS in Syria.

Although, both urged the world countries to take back their citizens, no states are ready to make such a move due to security concerns.
