MP Mohamed al-Baldawi, of al-Bina Alliance, has accused Nineveh provincial council of “complete corruption”, saying the bodies of victims, who sank as a Mosul ferry capsized, are still in Tigris river without being recovered by the civil defense forces.
“The bodies of the ferry victims are still in Tigris river without being recovered so far,” Baldawi said in remarks. “Nineveh provincial council is completely corrupt. Judiciary should hold it accountable for all the accusations leveled against it.”
Baldawi went on saying “ we are seeking stability for all the provinces and that security is restored back to the country. We, as a parliament, have a huge responsibility to protect people from the corrupts and holding them accountable.”
