A bomb blast has left two Iraqi children dead, south of Diyala province, a security source said.
In remarks, the source said that an IED went off Tuesday afternoon in al-Tarfaya village, south of Baqubah, leaving two children killed.”
The two bodies, according to the source, were transferred to the forensic medicine department.
Although no group has claimed responsibility for the attack, ISIS is usually responsible for attacks targeting crowded areas. In late 2017, Iraq declared victory against the terrorist group, however, the group still carries out sporadic attacks through its dormant cells.
