The visit by Qatari Minister of Commerce and Industry Ali bin Ahmed al-Kuwari to Iraq has revealed the malicious targets of Qatar, which claims strengthening economic ties with Iraq.
Qatar, backed by Iran, has been trying to find a place in Iraq, especially after being besieged by some Arab countries for its funding for terrorism and the Muslim Brotherhood in some countries like Egypt and Syria.
Iraqi Prime Minister Adil Abdul-Mahdi had received Kuwari in Baghdad over boosting bilateral economic cooperation and trade.
According to political sources, Qatar has been trying to find a place in Iraq, with support from Tehran, with pretext of fostering ties.
Speaking on condition of anonymity, the sources said the recent scandal of Qatar was using its airways to transfer armed militias and supporting them financially to spread its anti-Arab schemes.
The practices by Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, according to the sources, seeks destroying the region, as if it adopts a policy and foreign agendas, backed by Tehran.
Doha supports terrorism through paying hundreds of millions of US dollars to armed groups, in addition to sheltering suspects who fled some Arab countries, the sources said indicating Qatar's insistence to interfere in local affairs of other countries.
