Iranian Foreign Minister Mohamed Javad Zarif arrived, Monday, in Baghdad ahead of a visit by his President Hassan Rouhani.
Zarif arrived at Al-Salam presidential palace before Rouhani, accompanied by a governmental and political delegation. He arrived in Baghdad on an official three-day visit. He was received by Trade Minister Mohamed Hashim al-Aani.
Rouhani is scheduled to hold several meetings in Najaf with religious figures, on top of them is Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani, according to the Iranian embassy in Baghdad.
