Tehran arrests 282 people over corruption in 8 months: Dolatabadi


Tehran prosecutor Abbas Jafari Dolatabadi said that 282 people were arrested and 860 others were banned from travelling over the past eight months.

Also, 138 people were indicted and 121 were prosecuted, according to Dolatabadi.

The arrests were related to corruption cases, said Dolatabadi, including 13 persons of the petrochemical industry case, 29 people of the currency trade case, 4 persons in the meat and rubber trade case, 8 others in the customs case, and 20 people in the import and registration of vehicles case.
