Speaker of the Kuwaiti National Assembly Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanem has said the neighboring countries agreed on holding a conference in Baghdad to ensure the Arab dominance there.
In press remarks on Thursday, Ghanem indicated preparations by Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Jordan for a conference that will be held in Baghdad for the parliament speakers of the neighboring countries.
All the Arab parliaments, according to Ghanem, “Agreed on not leaving space for other countries to fill.”
Moreover, Ghanem added that “based on instructions from the political leadership, we accepted the invitation of the Iraqi parliament speaker. The parliamentary division delegation will head today for Baghdad for one day then to Jordan to visit the Syrian and Palestinian refugee camps. Then we will attend the meeting of the Arab Parliament Union in Amman.”
