Planning Nouri al-Dulaimi discussed on Tuesday with Kuwait's Ambassador to Iraq
Salem Al-Zamanan the financing of a number of vital projects in Basra.
The projects mainly include the Basra Hospital project and the establishment of a specialized center for the diagnosis and treatment of cancerous tumors, a statement by the ministry said.
During the meeting, the two sides also discussed on joint cooperation and the activation of economic and trade agreements between the two countries.
Dulaimi praised Kuwait's efforts to support the projects aiming to restore stability in the liberated areas.
For his part, Zamanan lauded Iraq's 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, stressing Kuwait's keenness to provide all kinds of support to the Iraqi government.
