Israel has carried out a strike against Syrian territory in Quneitra, near the Golan Heights border, the Syrian state news agency SANA reported on Monday.
The report did not provide further details, however, it added that only material damage was caused.
The strike, carried out by an Israeli tank, targeted a hospital and observation post "with a number of shells."
In July 2018, Quneitra was recaptured by Bashar al-Assad's regime forces after being held by a rebel faction for the majority of the country's seven-year-long civil war.
Israel routinely strikes Iranian targets in Syria. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has repeatedly said will not allow Iranian expansion in Syria.
