50 Russian children still in Iraq

ISIS children live under a stigma in Iraq

Around 50 Russian children are still kept in an Iraqi prison, a Russian child rights advocate said on Monday.

In a post on Instagram, Anna Kuznetsova said the children are expected to be returned to Russia soon.

Earlier, the Emergency Ministry’ s charter flight transported 27 minors along with their convicted or prosecuted mothers from a Baghdad prison to Moscow.

In late December, 30 other children aged from 3 to 5 were released from the prison in Baghdad and came back to Russia with the participation of doctors, psychologists, rescuers and employees of the federal ombudsman’s office.
