MP Mehdi Taqi, a member of parliament's security and defense committee, announced on Wednesday giving a 10-day deadline to Prime Minister
Adil Abdul Mahdi and Chief of Staff of the Iraqi army Othman al-Ghanmi to provide
all documents on the number of US combat forces and places they deploy in.
The committee will go for interrogating Ghanmi and Abdul Mahdi, who also serves as the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, in case they could not provide all information about the American presence within the period specified.
Among the information required to be revealed is the number of US combat forces, areas they are deployed in, as well as the number of US bases in the country and the reason for their presence, the committee said.
