Kurdistan Regional Government has announced beginning new phase of ties with the federal government in Baghdad, expressing support to Prime Minister Adil Abdul-Mahdi’s cabinet.
Nechirvan Barzani, head of KRG, expressed readiness to resolve all issues with the government in Baghdad.
“The region’s government will make all efforts to normalize relations with Baghdad and resolve all the issues within the constitution and laws,” Barzani said in remarks. Kurdistan’s planning minister “is currently in Baghdad to reach solution and agreements on the unresolved issues.”
Barzani also expressed support to Abdul-Mahdi’s cabinet.
