Parliament's upcoming session will not include voting on government- source

The upcoming session of the Iraqi parliament will not include a voting on Adil Abd al-Mahdi's government, a source told The Baghdad Post on Friday.


The Parliament announced that a ballot will be conducted on Saturday on the formation of a commission to investigate the fire that broke out at homeless' shelters in Baghdad's al-Adhamiya.

Saturday's session will also focus on the first reading of four laws, according to the media department of the Parliament.

During the session, the Parliament will do the first reading of a proposal to amend the scientific complex law, the first reading of the draft law on financial administration, the first reading of the cybercrime draft law, and the first reading of a draft law to amend the Iraqi money recovery fund law, Parliament's media added.
