Yemen’s army liberated a strategic mountain range in the southern Dalih province from the Houthi militia, news outlets reported late on Wednesday.
Troops liberated the mountain range stretching from Mudrah mountains towards the mountains overlooking Al-Athla and Al-Mawadh villages west of Damat, according to a statement released by the army’s media center.
Twelve militants were killed and several others wounded in clashes with the army, the statement added.
In other news, Houthi drones on Thursday attacked a Yemeni government military parade in Lahaj province, killing several people, Saudi and Houthi media reported.

The Houthis said in November they were halting drone and missile attacks on Saudi Arabia and the Yemeni government, however, the Saudi-led Arab coalition reported several attempted missile attacks by the militia in recent weeks.
This came as tensions rose recently over how to implement a UN-sponsored peace deal.
