Iraqi security forces carried out on Saturday a raid and inspection operation targeting members of ISIS terrorist group in Badush district and its surrounding villages, western Mosul.
Brigades 29, 33, 15 and 53 carried out the operation in addition to the Iraqi intelligence supported by the Iraqi air forces, the Iraqi Al Ekhbariya channel said. The joint operation is still going on, its added.
In December 2018, Iraqi security forces in Diyala province arrested a terrorist cell affiliates with ISIS in the north west of Baqubah, an Iraqi security source announced. The three-member cell is involved in violent acts that terrorized the residents of Baqubah.
