al-Abadi discussed Thursday with US Ambassador to Iraq Douglas Soliman starting
to reduce the number of foreign troops in Iraq.
During their meeting in Abadi's office, the two sides discussed reducing foreign troops in the country as part of the state's plan after the liberation of the Iraqi provinces from ISIS control, Abadi's media office said in a press statement.
They also discussed enhancing cooperation between the two countries, affirming the necessity of the international community's continuous support to Iraq to carry out reconstruction plans after ISIS was defeated, the statement read.
