An Iranian top military chief expressed his grudge over the visit of US President Donald Trump to Iraq last week, describing it as the “humiliating and sneaky trip to Iraq.”

Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Hossein Baqeri derided Trump’s visit, while addressing an academic festival in Tehran on Sunday, he said the US president claims to be the world’s most powerful man, but he had to visit Iraq in a “humiliating and sneaky” manner.

“On the same day that Trump had to visit Iraq with blacked-out windows inside the plane and fear for his wife, an Iranian official visited Afghanistan and held several meetings with Afghan officials,” the Iranian general said, adding that it shows the difference between Iran and the US, the “truth and falsehood” fronts.

In the past few weeks, the commander of IRGC’s Quds Force Qasem Soleimani secretly visited Iraq, in an attempt to support the nomination of their man, Faleh al-Fayadh, whom al-Binna’a Alliance is trying to enforce him on the top of interior ministry.
