According to an Iranian campaign for defending political and civilian prisoners, the activist is charged with promoting against the regime through a number of interviews with a Washington-based TV channel.
Khazai is due to appear before the Revolutionary Court in Karaj for an investigation to the charges against him on January 21.
Baha'is in Iran, especially in the province of Semnan where most Iranian Baha'is live, are subjected to constant assaults.
The Iranian constitution does not recognize the Baha'is as a religious minority in Iran. The mullahs' security forces regularly target the religious group, detain many of them and deliberately destroy their graves.
Baha'i students in Iran are also prevented from studying their religion in Iranian universities, and followers of this religion are expelled from educational institutions and government departments.
