Qatar's total outstanding debt (domestic and international) jumped to 333.5 billion riyals ($ 91.7 billion) at the end of November, official statements revealed on Monday.

In a report titled “Economic Outlook 2018-2022”, Qatar’s planning and Statistics Authority stated that the public debt has raised from 297 billion riyals ($ 81.7 billion) in December 2017 to 333.5 billion riyals ($ 91.7 billion) at the end of November 2018.

Qatar's need for financial liquidity has increased due to weak fiscal revenues, in return of the increase of financial expenditures to meet the consequences of the boycott and the World Cup 2022 projects.

In June 2017, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain collectively severed ties with Doha because of its support to terrorism.
